We are currently recruiting individuals with a strong commitment to improving our community’s capacity around mental health and addictions services and supportive housing to serve on our volunteer Board of Directors for a two-year term, starting in June 2026 

The Role

As a Board Member, you will play a critical role in helping to steer the organization in its service to those with needs related to their mental health, addictions, and overall well-being.  Specifically, you will participate in: 

  • Governance activities, setting strategic direction and goals to accomplish the agency’s mission 
  • Governance of activities, including the oversight of fiduciary duties and annual operating budgets 
  • Board activities, committees, volunteering at agency events, and attending external events 

Your Commitment

The time commitment (approximately 3-4 hours per month on average) involves preparation for and attendance at monthly meetings, committee leadership, and participation at community and agency events.  

To complement existing board members, we are especially interested in applicants with backgrounds in: 

  • Finance  
  • Fundraising 
  • Legal 
  • Medical
