Supported Clients
We have implemented a peer engagement approach; developing an evidence-based framework and and defined the scope of role, hired staff, and implemented programming.
We have implemented the Ontario Perspectives Of Care (OPOC) survey to engage client input and feedback for quality improvement. Learn more and view the results here.
Informed by the Thresholds Client Council, we have developed a Client Charter highlighting client rights and responsibilities, and distributed a paper copy to all clients.
Employer of Choice
We have completed a compensation pay review and upgraded to ensure pay equity and competitiveness in our sector.
We have implemented an annual staff satisfaction survey to identify and address improvement opportunities.
Effective Governance
Following research and assessment of accreditation options, we have selected to proceed with Accreditation Canada.
We have developed shared accountability structures regarding financial decisions at all levels.
Valued Partner
We have created a communications, fundraising, and development role and have created a Communications and Engagement Plan and Fundraising Plan.
We have built ongoing partnerships with equity-deserving communities and organizations that serve them, including Sanguen, Traverse Independence, and Crow Shield Lodge, at eight of our sites.
Supported Clients
We are establishing an anti-opression approach at every level of our work, including providing training to staff and implementing a review process.
Employer of Choice
We are implementing new ways to increase leadership capacity, including strengthening pathways to leadership, and increasing opportunities to provide feedback to leadership.
Effective Governance
We are conducting a self-assessment of the organization’s policies against accreditation standards.
We are implementing our work plan to move us through the process of becoming accredited through Accreditation Canada.
Valued Partner
We are continuing to expand our housing portfolio, strengthening relationships with private sector landlords.
