Birthdays should bring joy, not housing insecurity.

One of the benefits of providing a spectrum of supportive housing options is that clients and residents can move between programs as their needs change – all while continuing to benefit from being matched with a primary worker, mental health support, our recreational and wellness activities, peer support groups, and even our property and maintenance teams.

But the reality is, after operating for more than 45 years, our clients are aging right along with us. Over 400 of our 900 clients are now aged 55 and older.

Living with persistent and severe mental health conditions can make day-to-day challenges even more overwhelming. Moving away from your home and familiar supports because the building isn’t accessible is a massive journey for our clients – especially when that next step isn’t equipped to support their mental health care needs in the same way.

Break down barriers for our clients and help them age in place by making a gift to support:

Renovating bathrooms to support accessibility.

Updating door handles to levers.

Installing non-slip flooring material.

Adding emergency stove shut-offs.

Purchasing a van to transport clients to programming and appointments.
